Safari at a Glance
Safari at a Glance
Some journeys stay with you long after the dust has settled and the tide has gone out. This is one of them. Beginning in the raw, untamed heart of the Maasai Mara – where the savannah stretches to the horizon and lion, elephant, and leopard move undisturbed through the golden grass – and ending on the powder-white shores of Diani Beach, Where the Wild Meets the Wave is a safari designed for two.
Private game drives at dawn. A sundowner as the sky turns amber. Then, when the wildlife chapter closes, the Indian Ocean opens – with a couples’ spa, a sailing dhow at sunset, and a day spent adrift on the water above a coral reef. Two worlds, one seamless journey, crafted entirely around you.
Detailed Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi, descending into the Great Rift Valley as the city gives way to open skies and acacia-lined plains. By afternoon, you are in the Mara – and your first private game drive wastes no time. The Big Five roam these grasslands freely. As the light softens, your sundowner is set, the savannah glows, and the evening ends with dinner at the lodge under a canopy of stars.

Day 2: The Mara, All Day
Rise before first light – the Mara rewards the early riser. Your private guide leads you into the wilderness as the mist lifts off the plains, and the day’s first drama unfolds. After a bush breakfast served in the open air, the midday heat invites rest and reflection back at the lodge. Come afternoon, you return to the game-rich plains for another private drive, and the day closes with a dinner that feels like it belongs only to the two of you.

Day 3: From Savannah to Shore Maasai Mara – Diani Beach
This morning the Mara bids you farewell. After a transfer back to Nairobi, you fly south toward the coast – and as the Indian Ocean comes into view from your window, the mood shifts entirely. Diani Beach receives you gently: warm air, swaying palms, the sound of waves. Check in to your private resort, let the ocean breeze do its work, and ease into the first of three unhurried evenings on Kenya’s most beautiful stretch of coastline.

Day 4: Diani Beach: Slow Days, Deep Blue
Today belongs entirely to you. Begin with a couples’ spa treatment – think warm oils, ocean breezes, and the kind of stillness that only the coast can offer. The afternoon is yours to spend as you wish: toes in the sand, a book by the pool, or simply each other’s company. As the sun dips toward the horizon, your private sunset dhow cruise sets sail along the Swahili Coast – an hour on the water that neither of you will forget.

Day 5: Diani Beach Out on the Ocean
Your final full day belongs to the Indian Ocean. A private boat takes you out beyond the reef, where the water shifts from turquoise to deep cobalt and the marine world opens up beneath you. Snorkel above coral gardens alive with colour, spot the creatures that call this bay home, and as midday arrives, your crew sets a table on a private sandbank – lunch with the ocean all around you. The farewell beachfront dinner that evening feels like a fitting send-off.

Day 6: A Gentle Goodbye Diani Beach – Nairobi
The final morning is unhurried by design. Breakfast at leisure, a last walk along the shoreline, one more look at the ocean before the bags are packed. A transfer to the airstrip carries you back to Nairobi for your onward journey – but the Mara, the dhow, the sandbank, and the stars above your lodge have a way of travelling with you long after you’ve left.
